We offer a 14-day return period from the date your order is delivered.
Eligibility
To qualify for a return:
- Items must be unused, unworn, and in their original packaging
- You must provide proof of purchase (e.g. order confirmation)

Important: Do not return goods without contacting us first. Items returned without prior communication may not be processed.
Return Postage Costs
- If you are returning due to change of mind, you are responsible for return postage costs.
- If the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, we will cover the return costs and provide a prepaid label.
Items That Cannot Be Returned
The following items are non-returnable:
- Digital products (e.g. downloads, masterclasses)
- Gift cards
- Sale or clearance items
Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order upon arrival. If there is a fault, damage, or an incorrect item, email info@headteacherchat.com within 14 days. We will resolve the issue quickly — typically by replacement or refund — and cover all postage costs.
Digital Products and The School Leader Platform (Community)
We provide a 7-day free trial for The School Leader Platform. After this, you have a further 14 days to cancel your subscription for a full refund.
Due to the nature of digital goods, we are unable to offer refunds after this period.
By accessing digital products (including The School Leader Platform), you explicitly acknowledge and agree that your 14-day cancellation right is waived once the digital content is downloaded or streamed.
This is in accordance with Regulation 37 of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
Right to Cancel – Consumer Contracts Regulations
You have the legal right to cancel your order for physical goods within 14 calendar days of receiving it, without giving any reason.
To cancel, email us at info@headteacherchat.com with:
- Your name
- Your order number
- A clear statement of your wish to cancel
If you cancel within this time, we will refund the item price and standard delivery cost (if applicable). You are responsible for the cost of returning the item.
Exchanges
To exchange an item:
1. Return the original item (following the above process)
2. Place a new order for the replacement item
European Union – 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
If your order is delivered to the EU, you are entitled to cancel it within 14 days for any reason. This applies to physical goods only.
Conditions:
- Items must be unused and in original condition
- You must include proof of purchase
- Standard return costs apply unless the item is faulty or incorrect
Refunds
Once we have received and inspected your returned item, we will confirm whether your refund is approved.
- If approved, we will process your refund to your original payment method within 10 business days
- Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to post the refund
